Michael put a doggy door in Luke’s door.

Luke’s bedroom, which is in the garage, was very damp. Between the rain and the fog the air had a lot of humidity in it. Combined with Luke getting wet and bringing that wetness into the room, it was WET, all the time.

Michael also trimmed up the door (with the used table saw he just bought) so that it would shut.

Luke had no idea how to use a doggy door. As far as he was concerned we were asking him to walk through a door.

Enter Beggin Strips. There was a half used bag in his room when we moved in so I assumed that would be a good incentive.

One person was inside the door with a piece of the Beggin Strip and another person on the outside of the door with a piece of a Beggin Strip.

And repeat. Over and over and over.

I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. If properly motivated.

Have a wonderful day,
