I hope that each of you had a great Mother’s Day.

Here are my boys coming back from picking me lovely flowers. They often pick me beautiful bouquets. They also made me a delicious breakfast that morning.

We decided to go our separate ways this Mother’s Day. Not out of anger or anything like that. Out of love for others.

Michael and the boys went to Michael’s parents house and celebrated his mother. Michael and his brother Brian made a lovely chorizo and home-grown eggs brunch. They spent the day out on the back patio enjoying nature and their beautiful garden. Since I wasn’t there we don’t have any pictures to show.

I got to spend the day with my mom and my sister. My nieces either had to work or were out of town because of volleyball. The three of us shared a lovely day together chatting about a variety of subject.

I wanted to make them a lunch/dinner (we ate at 3:00) that they would enjoy and not have to cook themselves. Let’s face it, food always tastes better when someone else cooks it. I made the Chicken Pot Pie that I blogged about here.

I am so blessed to have such a loving family. I miss being only minutes away from them but I try to focus on the fact that an hour apart is still much less than a lot of people.

The three mothers that I love had a good Mother’s Day and that made my Mother’s Day great as well.

Have a blessed day
