Nothing is better on a warm summer morning than Our Favorite Homemade Granola. Ok, actually anytime of the day or any season, this granola is GREAT.

Honey Almond GranolaYogurt and granola is one of my favorite breakfasts. The boys love it, although they prefer warmer breakfasts in the winter.

Years ago I spent a weekend at Cricketwood Bed and Breakfast in Bend Oregon. They served wonderful breakfasts and this granola was one of them. They have since ceased operations but the granola recipe lives on in our household.

I love to make homemade yogurt and someday will share my recipe with you, but for the time being I enjoy the Greek yogurt brand Fage. If I want a little fruit flavor in it then I will mix in some homemade strawberry freezer jam.

I thought I would share this recipe with you.

  • Measure all ingredients into a large bowl and mix together.
  • Pour mixture into a 9x13 dish. Bake for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.

  • Let it cool then store in a tightly sealed container
  • ( I use a Ziploc gallon freezer bag)

I think you’ll enjoy this as much as we do.
Have a great day,
