Stuffed Peppers

This recipe will make eight of the thinner Marconi Peppers or four Bell Peppers.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1.25 lbs Italian Sausage
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • Tabasco to taste
  • Peppers cut in half

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Add oil to a fry pan over medium heat.
  • Saute celery, bell pepper and onion until soft.
  • Add the sausage and the garlic. Cook, breaking up, until done.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cream cheese.
  • Once thoroughly incorporated add tabasco.
  • Stuff peppers with meat and cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until peppers have softened.
