At first I thought it was our goat Brown Sugar who was wandering above the pond by the deck.
As I got a better look, I realized that Brown Sugar is a lot wider than this animal. No, I’m not being mean to say Brown Sugar is wide. She is due on 1/10 so she has her excuse.
Turned out it was a young deer. I’ve never seen deer with that coloring before.
She has been all over the upper area. She doesn’t seem to be very nervous. I was able to get pictures of her in our garden and she didn’t mind me being there.
She was enjoying eating the fallen apples from those two potted apple trees.
