It has been so busy lately with kidding, babies, human kids, etc, we haven’t really posted many pics of the babies this year. All together we have 13 kids; 7 boys and 6 girls. I did however capture some video last night of the babies playing, in particular two of the little bucklings trying to figure out who is the toughest of the bunch.

We have a better quality version on YouTube also.

The moms are in the stall on the left, and during the day the babies are in there with them. But each night we separate the babies so we can milk the does in the morning, so the babies get transferred to the center aisle first where they are playing in this video, and then to the stall on the right, with the open door.

When they are having their free time roaming the aisle each night, they like to hang out in the back of the barn, eating the hay. But every time a noise spooks them, they all take off running. I think it’s funny when the two battling bucklings are interrupted by this wave of startled baby goats. “Hey, do you mind, we are tending to something important here!”. The wave of goats is clueless to this fact.

Enjoy the baby goats, and have a great weekend.
