For Christmas we got the boys a bunch of goose decoys. They want to hunt everything but we have limited it to Canada Geese. We surprised them Christmas morning with a field of geese (decoys). It was pretty funny. They thought they were real and told us to all hide so we didn’t scare them while someone went to get the shotgun. Michael and I were cracking up.

Right now they are in the upper pasture where the barn and coop are. Eventually they will be in the lower acreage, a blind built and the boys will begin to learn how to use a shotgun.

The boys decide that the barn needed a swing.

Now I not only have to keep and eye out for flying doelings but swinging kids too.

We also added a dog house to the girls pasture. It is something for them to climb on and take shelter in.

We changed the mineral feeders so the goats wouldn’t climb on them. Rose of course couldn’t resist.

Fun on the farm no matter the temperature.

Enjoy the day,
