So what crazy times we are living in right now, HUH? I have been on work furlough and the boys have been doing distance-based learning for roughly 5 weeks now. The uncertainty is what makes things so unsettling right now, we have decided to make the best of it. Here are a few pics from the last week or so.

Karen and I rode bikes up the road to one of the nearby wineries.
We had a #socialdistancing BBQ with our neighbors.
One of the projects I have been able to complete; a new gate and arbor to the pond.
We had a beautiful Harvest Moon the other night.
Built a new cedar planting bed for Karen.

The cedar planting bed is a double Mothers Day gift. Not only has my wife been wanting me to replace the old, rotten cedar bed, but the planter has lots of succulents and Hens & Chicks. Karen loves Hens & Chicks, but so did my Mom, so this new planting bed is dedicated to the Mother of my boys, as well as my Mom. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms.

Not sure what the final outcome of all this Corona-virus disruption will be, but I do know we will survive. My hope is we can emerge more willing to appreciate the little things in life, more able to find the silver linings, and grateful for the good things we have. Life is hard, yet still full of many blessings.

From the farm,

Michael and Karen
