I find our goats to be amusing. They are fun to watch. It is actually more entertaining than my boys. With the goats I don’t really care why they do the weird things they do. With my boys I sometimes start to worry……”Why on earth would they do that?”
One thing that I’ve noticed is there is definitely a difference in what is important to bucks and what is important to does.
You find out what is important to them when they escape.
When the boys get out of their stall what do you think they do?
They go to the girls stall.
“Where’s the girls?”
“Oh look, they’re cute.”
“Love is in the air.”
Yup, girls. That is what is most important to a buck.
What is most important to a doe?
Food.
Hmm. These priorities sound familiar.
